Καλημέρες !!!

Μήπως έχει δοκιμάσει κανείς τα πετάλια της Darkglass Electronics ;

Ουσιαστικά η σειρά της αποτελείται απο 5 προϊόντα (ένα fuzz και 2 distortions τα οποία βγαίνουν σε μια premium και σε μια πιο απλή "budget?" έκδοση).

Επαναφέρω το θέμα καθώς θα ηθελα να ρωτήσω (ξανα) τους αγαπητούς συνφορουμίτες αν είχαν κάποια εμπειρία (θετική/αρνητική) με την συγκεκριμένη εταιρία...

450€ (από το γνωστό Γερμανικό χωριό) είναι πολλά χρήματα για ένα distortion/overdrive όπως και να το κάνεις αλλα μέχρι στιγμής δεν με έχει συγκινήσει και τίποτα  :(

Θειοοοοο..που χαθικες βρε;δυσκολα ρωτας..περιμενε λιγο να σκασει μυτη η ναμμ να δουμε τι θα παιξει και εκει.Παντος εγω ιδη εχω παραγκηλει προενισχυση που θα παρουσιαστει φετος στην εκθεση πρωτη φορα και κοντευω να κατουριθω απο την χαρα μου.
Ειχα παρακολπυθησει σε "κλειστο" φορουμ συζητηση για μπασο-ντιστορσια.
Κατα τις 3 παω σπιτι,θα κανω ενα σερτςςςς και θα σου πω το ζουμι της συζητηξης

σκάσανε και κάτι ατυχες στιγμές με μπάντες...  :wall

δε μου κάθετε και το ντιστόρσιο...  :bass

δε θέλει και πολυ ο ανθρωπος να αποθαρυνθεί...  :-\

Ε τωρα τι ειναι αυτα που λες;
Εγω ναμμ;εγω το πολυ πολυ μεχρι την zootehnia 2017 να παω και αν βολεψει..μας εχει ψοφισει με κατι -20°C εδω και μεχρι το περιπτερο να πας,το σκεφτεσαι..Αν στρωσει μεχρι τοτε..Ασε που θα εχω φιλαρακι που θα παει να παρουσιασει κατι προενισχυσεις και ενισχητες και θα ηθελα να παω να "μπω" λιγο στον κυκλο να ψαραψω γνωσεις απο κατι ατομα που θελω αλλα..
Τες πα.Οταν παω σπιτι θα αρχισω σκαψιμο να ξεθαψω εκεινο το θεμα.Λογικα μεχρι το βραδυ θα το εχω βρει (υποψην 3 παω σπιτι και 5:30-22:30 ξανα δουλεια οποτε λεγωντας βραδυ,εννοω τις μικρες ωρες..1-2 αντε 3 το πολυ)

Θα σε κανω copy paste γιατι δεν το κατεχω καλα το ξενικο και ετσι θα καταλαβεις καλυτερα.

I dig the PB1, I use it as my main preamp, it is nicely clean and direct. I however tend to start experimenting with the LPF/HPF to create a clean and a dirt channel.............
That's exactly why I bought mine, to be able to run the highs from my 12-string bass through distortion and keep the lows clean.  A friend has been borrowing it for some time for the same purpose although he bought another crossover recently.

How did that turn out?
I just started discovering this technique, but it seems pretty much been done all the time in hard-rock and metal music, to have the DI signal recorded twice, once clean with a LPF at 200-300 Hz and  the second channel with a HPF around the 200-300 Hz and massive dirt behind it.

There is a bit of experimenting necessary to find the sweet-spot in the crossover, but my first idea would be to ignore the main output of the preamp totally and just use the HPF and LPF outputs (LPF to board, HPF to dirt)

Using a crossover really helps to "clean up" distorted bass tones.  IME, it generally does not sound good to distort the fundamentals below 150Hz or so, plus it is nice to keep the lows full, clean, and punchy. Where it gets tricky is getting a good blend of the two signals so that it sounds like one massive grindy bass tone and not two different tones fighting each other.  Some compression on the lows can help to glue things together, as distortion naturally compresses the midrange and highs.

το έχω δει... αρκετά αργότερα απο τότε που το είχες ποστάρει...

δεν φαίνεται κακό... απλά με προβληματίζει i) η τιμή του, ii) το γεγονός πως είναι EHX και φυσικά iii) o κομ(π)ρέσορας  :-\
