Believe me, I didn't gut the amp because it didn't sound good, I did it because it was constructed like a total POS, almost every part except for the trannies (which are quite sound and which I kept) were cheap crap, stuff was constantly breaking, and even after reflowing all of the solder joints it still broke down (perhaps due to PCB flexing). But this was a very early one. I'll bet the reissues are much better made.
