This guitar is a late 80's early 90's Made in Japan Yamaha MGM-II these guitar I believe were made for the Japanese domestic market only and therefore nearly unknown in this part of the world .
This guitar is the same model that was chosen as signature model by famous Japanese guitarists and instrumentalist Tak Matsumoto so this is a professional guitar not just greasy kids stuff ! 22 fret maple neck and fret board , A set of absalutely huge sounding Over wound Alnico V pickups HSH configuration to give a very versatile selection of sounds ideal for instrumental rock and everything else from smooth jazz sounds to modern nu metal just balls to the wall tone all the way , as well as a Yamaha RM-PRO II licensed floyd rose bridge that strings through from the back like a conventional vintage trem without cutting the ball ends off your strings but with all the advantages of a modern locking bridge , The whole guitar has just gotten a complete over haul the whole body was stripped down and each and every nut screw and bolt was individually cleaned and oiled before being completely reasembled ,frets have just gotten a full dressing and should be good for at least another 20 years !!
